From our receptionists, all the way up to management, every individual who works here has taken a pledge and promised to provide nothing less than exceptional customer service to everyone who walks in our doors. And under the direction of the founder, Robert Oyer, they have been serving the greater Buffalo area for the past three decades.
MORE ABOUT THE FOUNDER – Before founding G. Robert Oyer LLC, he spent 13 years as part owner of a local TV sales and service business, which he says prepared him well for the low vision industry. The skills he honed helping customers fix their TVs have translated nicely into helping customers repair their visual aids. In addition to a certificate in troubleshooting and electronic repair, Robert has an associate’s degree in pre-law and has been a recipient of the Outstanding Sales Achievement Award for the last five years.
Robert loves helping the visually impaired by providing them with the best products currently available. Apart from technology, he is passionate about one thing, and that’s helping people. In founding G. Robert Oyer LLC he found a way to incorporate both of his passions into his everyday life.

Here at G. Robert Oyer LLC, we make it a point to get involved with as many low vision organizations as we can. Right now we are a part of the Commission for the Blind and Visually Handicapped, the Lions Club, the Association of the Blind, and the U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs. Plus, because we are proud to be a part of the larger Buffalo community, we are always looking for ways to give back more locally too.
